Here's what you need to do separately for each project: Go to this link and submit the PCN and associated documents, you'll reference the DWR# for each project (20150717 for the 48" culvert and 20140694 for the 36" culvert). For each one this application will be Version 2 Once you've done that send the check to our Central Office, attention Sheri Montalvo and reference the above DWR# and Version 2. She'll log the check's in and let me know. Once we have all the documents and the checks then I can issue new 401 approvals to match up with the USACE re -verifications. Let me or Sheri know if you have any questions/concerns. I'll look into that. Thanks, Sue Homewood Division of Water Resources, Winston Salem Regional Office Department of Environmental Quality 336 776 9693 office 336 813 1863 mobile Sue. The intention of the projects were to keep uncontaminated stormwater from entering the ash basin and pump the stormwater collected at these pipes to a stormwater outfall. The project is continuing pumping/drawdown activities, both of these projects were approved under the Nationwide Permits that expired on March 18, 2017. There have been no changes associated with these projects, they continue to operate as permitted. They will continue to operate in this mode until closure activities progress far enough into the future that they can be directly routed to a stormwater outfall, or until a new outfall can be established specifically for stormwarter runoff from these areas. Based on the current timeline for ash basin closure rerouting of the stormwater, or establishing a new outfall should be completed by 2022. Duke Energy request's these projects be reauthorized under the new Nationwide permits. Below are the Action ID numbers for the permits that have expired on projects still in progress. Permits that require request for reauthorization to continue pumping/draw-down activities as permitted 48" - SAW -2015-01670 - Expiration 3/18/17 36" - SAW -2014-01477 - Expiration 3/18/17 Please let me know if you need any further information or have any questions.
