The Division of Environmental Management (DEM) has received the information in the
letter of July 27, 1992 concerning the use of Calgon H-510 microbiocide at your facility Allen
Steam. Station in Gaston County. Our review has revealed that Calgon H-510 microbiocide
should be appropriate for.use in your application. Therefore, the DEM grants approval to Duke
Power Company for the use of the above mentioned additive Calgon H-510 microbiocide.
Should you plan to change to a different additive in the future, you should contact this
office and submit the appropriate information for approval prior to the change.
