Eric and Rob,
The rain yesterday has apparently resulted in significant migration of the fine
materials that were deposited within the stream below the culvert We were out at
the project around 10 00 am w/ Rob to look at the site The material left in the
area is primarily very small stone to cobble material Most of this stone and cobble
material has been deposited in small benches along the stream bed
We are proposing at this immediate time to only remove the stone/cobble material that
is located above the water line Once the water goes down, we can then isolate and
dewater portions of the stream which will allow for removal of additional
stone/cobble
The vacuum truck was delivered to the site yesterday However, it does not appear
that it is needed due to the migration of the fine material All work at this time
is to be done with a version of the bucket brigade The contractor may still use the
walk behind rubber tire piece of equipment in the stream to facilitate removal of the
stone/cobble
The attached photographs depict the current state of the stream We will contact you
when all work has been completed
