Mr. Goodman,
Mr. Scarbraugh asked me to review your wastewater needs for the above project. Please note that the wash water for
the purposes described is consider wastewater and shall be properly disposed of. You will need to obtain a permit for
any treatment device and disposal for this activity. The choices available to you would be a recycle permit where you
recycle all wash water and reuse it after all solids are removed and properly disposed of. Another choice would be a
non -discharge permit where you remove all contaminants and dispose of the wastewater as described in your proposal.
Another choice would be to connect to the Town of Hertford's collection system so that they could dispose of the
wastewater and finally, if all of the previous choices are not available, would be to get a discharge permit to dispose of
the treated wastewater to the Perquimans River.
