Attached, please find the LIBR submittal for Bridge 230198 over Western Prong Creek
along SR 1546 in Columbus County. The project proposes permanent wetland impacts
of 0.10 acre of Riverine Wetlands. Mitigation will be requested from DMS for 0.10 acre
at 2;1 ratio. We had review this bridge project on April 21, 2017.
This bridge has been accelerated ahead of the scheduled let, and because of the
acceleration, Carolina Ecosystems, Inc. made a Biological Conclusion of MA-NLAA for the
Rough-leaved loosestrife and Colley's meadowrue. Surveys are scheduled for mid-June,
and, if no individuals are identified, then, the Biological Conclusion will be changed to
No Effect.
