IS NECESSARY NEAR THE STREAM.
3)INSTALL COFFER DAM AND PUMP UPSTREAM FROM PROPOSED CROSSING. WHEN STREAM FLOW HAS
STOPPED, INSTALL ROCK CHECK DAMS DOWNSTREAM FROM PROPOSED CROSSING. PUMP THE
STREAM WATER FROM THE COFFER DAM TO BEYOND THE ROCK CHECK DAMS. ALL SEEPAGE
WITHIN THE WORK AREA SHALL BE PUMPED THROUGH A SILT BAG PRIOR TO ITS .RELEASE INTO
THE STREAM.
4) INSTALL SANITARY SEWER. CONTRACTOR SHALL PLAN THE OPERATION SO THAT IT IS AS
CONTINUOUS AND EXPEDIENT AS POSSIBLE.
5) PLACE FILL OVER CROSSING AND STABILIZE THE AREA PRIOR TO REMOVING THE COFFER DAM
