This is a courtesy notification that NCDOT will be replacing several pipes in jurisdictional
areas in Tyrrell County under Nationwide Permit 3 conditions. Locations are
UT's(canals) off of the Scuppernong River, Stream Index No. 30-14-4-(9). The bottom
elevations of the existing pipes are greater than 20% below the streambed
elevations. The proposed pipes will be installed at the elevations of the existing pipes.
Site 1: Existing 18" X 40' RCP will be replaced by a 18" X 40' CAP at N 35.9286111° W
76.2476438°.
Site 2: Existing (2) 30" X 40' RCP's will be replaced by (2) 30" X 40' CAP's at N
35.9285462° W 76.2473904°.
