NCDOT has revised the proposed pipe replacement for this site. The new structure will
be a 15'-4" x 6'-5" x 40.5' Corrugated Aluminum Box Culvert with headwalls.

This is a courtesy notification that NCDOT will be replacing a culvert structure in a
jurisdictional area in Chowan County under Nationwide Permit 3 conditions. The culvert
structure and roadway were damaged as a result of Hurricane Matthew, and the road is
closed to traffic.
Existing (2) 6' x 3' x 34' RCBC's will be replaced by a 14'-10" x 4'-10" x 40.5' CABC with
headwalls at N 36.21577° W 76.657520°.
