Thank you for your review and comments in response to the Year 3 monitoring report that was

Response: DMS originally planned to have the site replanted during the 2016/2017 dormant
season, however there were issues with getting desired stock following Hurricane Matthew and
getting the site planted ahead of the growing season. We are extending the contract with our
planting contractor and the site is set to receive supplemental planting following Monitoring Year
4 during the 2017/2018 dormant season. The site will be replanted to an average density of 400
stems per acre using larger stock.

Response: The assets were refined between Monitoring Year 1 and Monitoring Year 2 as part of
an asset verification process related to the then temporary, and later adopted, Consolidated
Buffer Mitigation Rules. We evaluated the buffer assets located up to 50' from the channel, 51' to
100' from the channel, and 101' to 200' from the channel. This resulted in an increase of buffer
assets from 1,376,496 ft2to 1,377,325 ft2, representing a negligible increase of 829 ft2. This is a
more accurate representation of the project's assets, and still reflects an estimated 31.6 acres of
riparian buffer restoration.
