There are a few areas (in blue) where we are under the 50' on one side, due to site constraints, but overall we have well above the required 650 LF of buffer that is at least 50, in width on both sides (green) . As I stated earlier, the PCN has been corrected so that the impacts total only 250' and we replaced Red Maple with Sycamore in the planting plan. That information was submitted to Raleigh earlier this month. Let me know if you need anything else in order to issue the permit. Andrea Andrea M. The GIS should be fine. . .as long as I understand it. Overlay the buffer on the sewer easement. If you have enough 50 ft buffer (with or without including the sewer line) . I would give that information. Thanks Andrea Spangler wrote: IWe replaced the Red Maple with Sycamore and modified the project so that Ithe impacts were only 250 LF. That was all resubmitted to Raleigh, but all we did with the buffer was confirm there was enough to meet the ratio. We didn't add a drawing. Okay if I just make a GIS figure showing the buffer location and various widths? Did you get what we submitted to Raleigh or should I email that to you as well? Andrea M. And clarification. If there is enough 50 ft buffer to meet the ratio, then have it clarified. . . .800 ft buffer (50ft) . . . .300 ft buffer (30ft) . The part that would count is the 800 ft. . . . . .Does that makes sense? I also mention that including the relocation of the stream, total impacts would be over 300 ft. . .would the corp require an Individual Permit. Last, they had concerns about Red Maple (it self colonizes) and yellow birch and striped maple. .central office stated it wasn't native in mecklenburg. I am ready to issue, just need clarity/info on the above. Thanks Andrea Spangler wrote: Hey Alan- Just checking to make sure everything was okay with the Griffith application. We haven't received a copy of the permit yet. Are there any outstanding issues? //Andrea M.
