Subject: Correction to 401 Water Quality Certification for the proposed improvements to SR 1306 (South
Mebane Street) from SR 1158 (Huffman Mill Road) to NC 54 (Chapel Hill Road) in Alamance
County, Federal Aid Project No. STP-1306(8), State Project No. 8.2473101, TIP U-3303A and
U-3303B.
DWQ Project No. 20080691
WQC No. 3750
Dear Dr. Thorpe:
This letter is in regards to the 401 Water Quality Certification (WQC) issued on July 25, 2008 for the
improvements to SR 1306 (South Mebane Street) from SR 1158 (Huffman Mill Road) to NC 54 (Chapel
Hill Road) in Alamance County, Federal Aid Project No. STP-1306(8), State Project No. 8.2473101, TIl'
U-3303A and U-3303B, DWQ Water Quality Certification No. 3750.
It has been brought to our attention that the impact tables in the 401 Water Quality Certification issued on
July 25, 2008 for this project erroneously referred to R-3303A and R-3303B instead of U-3303A and U-
3303B. In order to avoid confusion in the future, the impact tables in the attached 401 Water Quality
Certification have been corrected. The attached 401 Water Quality Certification, dated August 11, 2008
replaces the previous 401 Water Quality Certification dated July 25, 2008.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you have any questions please contact
David Wainwright at (919)-715-3415.
Sincerely,
oleen H. Sullins,
Director
