Subject: Hold: Windy Gap Rd., Lake Wylie
Dear Mr. Ewert:
On April 4, 2008, and again on June 3, 2008, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) issued a hold letter for
the subject project due to the need for following additional information:
¦ Access will be by land. Please provide a diagram and area of impact for access to the shoreline.
Please provide information regarding the size and number of any trees proposed to be removed
from the buffer and restoration of the buffer upon completion of project. The buffer rules regulates
trees greater than/equal to 3" in diameter at breast height.
¦ Please provide photos of the shoreline. Digital photos may be email to: Alan. Johnsongricmail.net
or mailed.
¦ The use of riprap is limited to one (1) foot above full pond, unless circumstance dictate otherwise.
The application states riprap will extend 3 ft. above full pond.
As of this date no information has been received. Be advised that this application is being withdrawn
from consideration. A new application and fee may be submitted for the project should you decide to proceed.
