Dear Mr. Mullis:
On September 13 and 15, 2016, Roberto Scheller of this Office collected samples for effluent
toxicity test at the subject facility. The laboratory results for the subject toxicity testing are
enclosed with this cover. We wish to thank you and the operating staff for assistance regarding
this collection of these samples.
The enclosed report should be self-explanatory; however, should you have any questions,

Stanly County
The aquatic toxicity test using composite samples of effluent discharged from the -Norwood WWTP has
been completed. Norwood WWTP has a permitted, effluent discharge of 0.75 million gallons per day
(MGD) entering the Rocky River (7Q10 of 42 CFS). Whole.effluent samples were collected on
September 13 and September 15 by Roberto Scheller and facility representative Tom Johnson for use in a
.chronic Ceriodaphnia dubia pass -fail toxicity test. This test passed Toxicity test information follows. .
