This site was previously viewed by Gyndi Bell on 2/26/98. No further site investigation was
performed by this Office.

Spoke with Eric Alsmeyer, COE, regarding the Permit Type which DOT has applied. They have
applied for a NP 14 and NP 26 instead of an Individual Permit since the eject meets the
requirements for a 14 and 26 and impacts are not contiguous even though the impacts are over 900
LF_

The WSRO recommends that the WO Ger ification be issued for this project on the condition that
NCDOT notifies this Office upon completion of the stream relocation sites for a compliance
evaluation,
