This development is adjacent to the proposed Cliffs of High Carolina development. Mr. Galbreath has taken several pictures of what appears to be a Carolina Northern Flying Squirrel (Galucomys sabrinus coloratus) on his property. Attached is one of the pictures. According to the attached U.S. Fish and Wildlife document, the Carolina Northern Flying Squirrel is listed as an Endangered Species. The proposed Cliffs at High Carolina development can be deleterious to the survival of the Carolina Northern Flying Squirrel. Mr. Galbreath can be contacted at digitldave(Tearthlink.net.
