Tony McGee, landscape architect and trail design/builder, provided a GPS marking of the trail and Piedmont Triad Regional Council provided GPS data on Zone 1 and Zone 2 of the Jordan Lake Rules at Lake Reidsville. We overlayed the trail onto that map and discovered that the trail is not in either zone. I apologize for all the work this caused you; but for what it's worth, it definitely was a learning experience for me that I will carry forward. The Dan River Basin Association has been granted Recreational Trail Program funding to extend this trail; so we may need to return to you for a Buffer Authorization Request in the future. But for now, it appears we are clear to proceed! If you see anything that suggests otherwise, please let me know. We are required to complete this .25 trail by the end of May; so we are eager to get started. In the photo below, Zone 1 is in orange and Zone 2 is in yellow. The trail alignment is the darker orange line. The line's thickness makes it appear to land in Zone 2, but when you scroll in (next image) you see that it falls outside of that zone. 1 avile ,qlbp L Eke 4q6 .
