Certification 3886, for the Replaceinent of Bride No. 86 on Old Ruby Road (SR 1105)
over Cedar Creek in Anson County, North Carolina. State Project No. 17BP.10.R.58,
Division 10.
Dear Ms. Amschler:
Please find enclosed the Pre-Construction Notification (PCN) form, Stormwater Manageinent Plan,
permit drawings, and half-size roadway design plans for the subject project. The North Carolina
Department of Transportation (NCDOT) proposes to replace Bridge No. 86 over Cedar Creek on
Old Ruby Road (SR 1105) between SR 1143 and SR 1106 in Anson County. The proposed project
consists of removing the one lane, structurally deficient bridge (Sufficiency Rating of 21.7) built in
1958 and replacing it with a triple 12 x 7-foot Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert (RCBC). The
project length is approximately 0.094 miles.
