Dear Mr. Mayo:
The Washington Regional Office received your application for a CAMA Major Permit from the Division of Coastal
Management on May 21, 2008. The impacts proposed are for constructing a bulkhead as described in your application. This
Certification can also be found on line at: http://h2o.enr.state.nc.us/ncwetlands/certs.html. You are authorized to proceed
with your project as proposed under General Water Quality Certification (WQC) #3641 (enclosed). This Certification is
issued in conjunction with the CAMA Major Permit issued by the Division of Coastal Management. This letter serves
as written concurrence from the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) and it is required that you meet all of the conditions of
this General Water Quality Certification.
As per the request letter for additional information issued from this Office on July 3, 2008, Zone I buffer restoration is
required. A buffer restoration plan was received in this Office from Foley & Foley Contractors, Inc. A follow up inspection
will be conducted to ensure compliance with Neuse Buffer Rules.
If at anytime during construction of your project you determine that you cannot meet these conditions or if there are any
additional impacts to wetlands or water quality not described in your application, you must contact this office
immediately.
