Where I live in Fairview is probably considered a rural area, we all have our on septic systems, wells or spring
water. I live on Old Fort Road in Fairview and listen to the fact that there is even a consideration to disrupt our
natural streams on the mountain. Because of the drought my mother barely has enough water to flush the toilet,
we have been pumping water to her reservoir from a creek. My mother lives past Spring Mountain and just past
Echo Lake, she has spring water that comes from the same mountain that they want to take what streams we
have left. We own almost twenty acres there and think that this would have a tremendous effect on everyone in
the area that has spring water (there are still a lot of residents with spring water) or even our wells. I think it is a
shame that this has been kept so quiet and no-one knew this was even a consideration.
