To whom it may concern: We live along Old Fort Rd. in Fairview, below where the new Cliffs of High Carolina is being developed. We are concerned about changes that may be occurring, or will occur, to our water - specifically Cane Creek - which is at the bottom of the valley from where The Cliffs is being developed.. My main concern is the runoff from the new development What kind of chemicals, pesticides, silt and soil runoff will be making its' way into Cane Creek, which is a protected trout stream, and quite clean, as of now. Also, quite a few people live just on the outside edge of what is now considered the flood plain. With the developers in the process of changing how the water flows, paving more and more, installing storm drains and clearing trees - how is this going to affect the creek levels during heavy rains ? Is this going to change the flood plain ? I think we need time to study the effect of such a large endeavor in such a pristine area . Sincerely, Diana Cota RD L (?,'? G V C?
