To Whom it May Concern,
My husband and I find any serious consideration of a golf course, let alone a
development of this size, to be totally out of keeping with current environmental
concerns, regulations in place for good reason, and conditions that seem to mandate
the careful consideration of the use of water and the impact of new development on
water management. To our minds it would be nothing short of irresponsible to
approve this application.
We feel strongly that we are all entering a new era that requires new thinking and
new priorities. To continue to do business in traditional ways is by definition to
be backward looking. Already there is very little public support for this
project, because of its unsightly scar on the mountainside. To add to that the
insult of a greedy attack on shrinking available resources is to add insult to
injury.
