This development will contain 600 houses starting at $500,000 which will be situated around Tiger Woods' first golf course in the US. I am sure the 18 hole course and the development will have significant water demands. My mother, 1/2 to 1 mile away as the crow flies, gets her water from a well. Requests for such a public hearing must be submitted by August 1. Could you please give me a call at 859-979-5341 so I could discusss these and some other questions: • I have been told by a Hydrologist that this development could reduce my mother's water supply and that it might take several years for that impact to present itself. • Are their laws or restrictions currently on the books that would prevent a new comer to an area to significanly and adversly effect the water availablity of a neighbor. • Do you think we should be concerned about my mother's water supply? • What do suggest as a course of action for us? I look forward to speaking with you. Will Weatherford Cyndi Karoly, North Carolina Division of Water Quality I of 1 7/29/2008 10:38 AM
