Everyone,
I am writing to notify you of a mistake in the 5/22/08 CP2 Revisited Meeting Packet regarding bridge
lengths for the Maysville Bypass alternates.

Gary Jordan notified me yesterday that the bridge lengths and associated jurisdictional impacts were
incorrect for structures S4A and S4B in the 5/22/08 meeting packet. Gary is correct. During our 2/22/08
CP2A (southern portion) Concurrence Meeting, the Merger Process Team agreed to shorten those
bridges. The packets we mailed to you incorrectly present the old bridge lengths and jurisdictional

impacts, not only for S4A and S4B, but also for S6 and S8. I intend to send errata sheets to you prior to
the meeting. The following table presents the previous bridging recommendations and the 2/22/08
agreed-upon bridging recommendations.

Please let me know if you did not receive the packets for our CP2 (entire project) Revisited and
CP2A (northern) meetings on 5/22/08 for R-2514 (US 17 - Belgrade to New Bern).

USACE, DWQ, NCDOT, and our consultants have addressed the action items from our field
meetings and concurrence meetings held during 2007. Please contact me regarding any comments,
questions, or suggestions as you prepare for our meetings.
