REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION: STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN
Dear Mr. Row:
On June 19, 2008, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) issued a 401 Water Quality Certification to
impact subject waters in order to construct the business park in Mecklenburg County. In order to
meet the stormwater conditions of the 401 Certification for this project, a stormwater management
plan, dated June 17, 2008, was received by the DWQ on June 19, 2008. The DWQ has determined
that this stormwater management plan was incomplete as discussed below.
Additional Information Requested:
1. Please provide documentation of the Mecklenburg County's approval of the stormwater
management plan for this project by providing EITHER:
• A valid approval letter from Mecklenburg County indicating that the proposed
activity has an approved SMP and one copy of the approved SMP, including plan
details, calculations and other supporting information, OR
A set of stormwater plan details and calculations stamped as "Approved" by
Mecklenburg County.
The DWQ will require the above additional information to finalize review of the stormwater
management plan for the subject property. Please provide the following information so that we
