Project Description
Canterbury Village Subdivision located near Goldsboro in Wayne County, NC (Figure
1), The subdivision proposes to make improvements to their road and storm water
drainage structures for addition of their subdivision roads to the North Carolina
Department of Transportation (NCDOT) Secondary Road System The work involved
includes repaving existing roads, replacing existing drainage structures and cleaning
out the outfalls of existing drainage easements to provide flow in channels The
project area is approximately 60 acres including existing roads and existing drainage
easements (Figures 2-4)
Jurisdictional Features
A delineation of Jurisdictional features conducted by SEPI on March 6th, 2017
identified one potential Jurisdictional wetland area (WA), one perennial stream (SA),
and four intermittent streams (SB, SC, SD and SE) The potential Jurisdictional
features are shown over aerial imagery, USDA soil survey and USGS Topographic
mapping in Figures 2 through 4 Photos 1-12 show the potential Jurisdictional
features
