An overall view of the wetland shows substantial aquatic vegetation. The interior slopes
are maintained well with dense and healthy coverage.
Another view of the interior slope shows mowed interior slopes with healthy aquatic
vegetation at the waters edge.
Vegetation is beginning to turn due to cooler weather. Water clarity is good with a
noticeable lack of floating algae.
Good coverage of aquatic vegetation is provided.
 o
The dual inlet pipes from Walnut Street flow out of a headwall an onto a rip rap stone
energy dissipater pad. The inlet pipes and stone were all observed in good condition.

The inlet flared end section located below the shopping center is shown above. The
pipe was in good condition with a deep pool at the end of the pipe to dissipater the
waters' energy.
The photo above shows an overall view of the lower constructed wetland. The system
has no significant floating algae. Aquatic plant material appears to be healthy, but cooler
weather will create dormant conditions soon.
The deep pool located at the lower end of the flared end section serves as an effective
energy dissipater. The deep pool is free of significant sediment and requires no
additional maintenance at this time.
. -, VA
The wetland fringe is shown above with aquatic material in place to prevent slope
erosion and slope collapse. The plant material is plentiful and in good condition.
The interior of the stormwater control structure shows open orifices and a chain link
trash collector on the exterior. All aspects of the structure appear to be in good condition
and functioning as intended.
The structural dam of the lower wetland is shown above. There were no sink holes or
other signs of soil loss above the outfall pipe. Ground cover was sufficient to prevent
erosion and vegetation height was suitable.
The lower end of the outfall pipe is shown above. The RCP flared end section was
found in good condition and free of sediment. The rip rap energy dissipater was in good
condition and functioning as designed.
