After examination of your renewal permit application documents and the physical inspection of the facility
by Division of Water Resources personnel the Division has determined that a stormwater individual permit is
the appropriate permitting vehicle for your facility The activities and the nature of the discharges originating
in the airport are industiial activities regulated by the stormwater program
In order to transition your current permit to a stormwater individual permit the Raleigh-Durham Airport
Authority shall submit an individual stormwater permit application package consisting of EPA Form 1, EPA
Form 2F and a fee of $860 within 90 days of receipt of this letter The application form and fee shall be
submitted to the Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources, Stormwater Permitting Program, 1612
Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC 27699-1612 The fee applies as the annual fee for the first year after permit
issuance The NPDES permit NCO084514 will continue to be effective until the new stormwater permit is
issued The NPDES permit will be rescinded and the stormwater permit issued on the date the billing cycle
ends foi the NPDES permit to avoid the payment of two annual fees in the same year
