Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing project. The bridge will be replaced in place on existing elevation with a cored slab bridge. A silt fence will be used during bridge pile removal. A turbidity curtain will be used during new bent installation and a silt bag with pump will be in place during the pump-around phase. There will be no deck drains over Walnut Creek. Traffic is being detoured offsite. Two energy dissipator pads will be installed. See attached cover letter for additional information. 1 b.
