Trafiic will follow an offsite detour during construction. Permanent impacts to jurisdictional resources cover approximately 0.04 acres resulting from installation of the new bridge and abutments and movement of a roadside ditch. Temporary wetland impacts totaling 0.05 acres are due to hand clearing and sediment and erosion control devices. Please see enclosed copies of the LIBR Spreadsheet, Preliminary Jurisdictional Determination Form, USACE wetland/upland forms, NCDWR wetland forms, NCDWR stream forms, USACE stream quality forms, stormwater management plan, and permit drawings for the above-referenced project. This project was let on 6/2/2015. Regulatory Approvals Section 404 Permit: The NCDOT requests that these activities be authorized under Nationwide 14. Section 401 Pernut: The NCDOT requests that these activities be authorized under Water Quality Certification Number 3886. We anticipate that written approval from the NC Department of Water Resources will be required. If you have any questions or need additional information, please contact me at (910) 437-0207.
