Re: Clarification of DWQ Project #06-1381
As per our conversation on July 3, 2008, my intentions for my 16' x 42' boathouse is
to house my 18' boat and my 2 jet skis. The boat draws approximately 8" to 10" of
water; but with the engine down, it draws approximately 20". The jet skis draw
approximately 6" to 8" and are not prone to scour the bottom. The boat is equipped with
tilt and trim.
This new layout plan has been previously presented on May 21, 2008 to Rick Weaver of
Morehead.
To get to the water depth of 3', I would have to extend the pier out another 450' beyond
the 205' I have proposed.
The Submerged Aquatic Vegetation is thin and very patchy.
