The proposed development will serve to satisfy the increasing demand for commercial and residential property in Holly Springs. The proposed improvements have been minimized as much as practicable, but will result in unavoidable temporary impacts to 35 linear feet of jurisdictional stream channel, and 0.08 acre of riparian buffer impacts. All impacts are resulting from construction of a sewer line associated with the development. USACE has reviewed the site and are in agreement with the jurisdictional wetland and stream delineation. Please contact me at (919) 212-1760 if you have any questions or comments. Thank you for your assistance with this project. The proposed sewer corridor does not include wetland areas; therefore, permanent wetland conversion impacts are avoided. 1 b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques. All sewerline construction will occur in the dry. A 30 -ft Geared corridor is necessary for construction, but the permanent maintenance corridor will be 20 feet to minimize permanent riparian buffer impacts. All appropriate stormwater BMPs and erosion control measures will be installed during construction. Construction equipment will be stored in upland areas. 2.
