Dear Mr. Thomas:
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that the City of Lenoir (the City) has satisfied the
requirements of the above referenced Administrative Order on Consent (AOC). By copy of this
letter, the AOC has been terminated.
Termination of the AO shall not be deemed an election by the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency Region 4 to forego any administrative, civil or criminal action or other appropriate relief
under the Clean Water Act, nor will it relieve the City of obligations to comply with any other
applicable federal, state or local law.
