Email mail@santekenviro corn Haywood County (White Oak) Landfill
Internet.www santekenviro corn NPDES Permit Number: 1\7,6't 1‘211044.1
To Whom It May Concern:
In accordance with the Tier Two monitoring requirements located in Part II(B) of
General NPDES Permit(NCG120000), please find enclosed one original and one
copy of the March 2016 through May 2016 discharge monitoring reports (DMR)
for stormwater discharge outfalls (SDO-2 and SDO-3). SDO-2 and SDO-3
became subject to the Tier Two monitoring requirements following two
consecutive Total Suspended Solids (TSS) detections above the benchmark value
(100 mg/L) which occurred on June 30, 2015 and November 2, 2015. Therefore,
SDO-2 and SDO-3 are in the process of being monitored monthly for all of the
stormwater parameters until three consecutive monthly sampling results are below
the benchmark values. According to the site manager, no discharge occurred at
SDO-2 and SDO-3 during the months of March 2016 through May 2016. The
site will attempt to collect a monthly sample during the next discharge producing
rain event.
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to call at(423) 303-7101.
Sincerely,
Robert Hudson
Environmental Compliance Coordinator

1 Monthly sampling f instead of semi-annual) must begin with the second consecutive benchmark exceedance for the same parameter at the same outfall.
2 For sampling periods with no discharge at any single outfall, you must still submit this discharge monitoring report with a checkmark here.
3The total precipitation must be recorded using data from an on-site rain gauge. Unattended sites may be eligible for a waiver of the rain gauge requirement.
4 See General Permit text,Table 3, identifying the especially sensitive receiving water classifications where the more protective benchmark applies.
Note: Results must be reported in numerical format. For example,do not report Below Detection Limit, BDL,<PQL, Non-detect, ND,or other similar non-
numerical format. When results are below the applicable limits, they must be reported in the format, "<XX mg/L",where XX is the numerical value of the
detection limit, reporting limit, etc. in mg/L. Conversely, where fecal coliform results exceed the dilution upper limit, report the result as">XX".
Note: If you report a sample value in excess of the benchmark, you must implement Tier 1, Tier 2, or Tier 3 responses. See General Permit text.
