HomeMy WebLinkAbout20161268 Ver 1_SAW-2007-01386-PN2_20170213N� 1 I���1 US Army Corps Of Engineers Wilmington District PUBLIC NOTICE Issue Date: February 2, 2017 Comment Deadline: March 2, 2017 Corps Action ID: SAW- 2007-01386 All interested parties are hereby advised that the Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) is extending the commenting period on the North Caroli�la Department of Transportation (NCDOT), Transportation I�nproveinent Project (TIP)s U-4751 and R- 3300 , known as the Hampstead By-Pass, for road improvements starting at Military Cut- off in New Hanover County and ending just south of the Holly Shelter Gaine Lands in Pender County, North Carolina. This ilotice only extends the commenting period to March 2, 2017 therefore the description on the original notice reinains valid. The purpose of the extension stems from an updated adjacent property owner notification list provided by the applicant which is being used to properly notify the public. Specific plans and location infot-mation are described below and shown on the attached plans. This Public Notice, original applications, and all attached plans are also available on the Wihnington District Web Site at http://www.saw.usace.army.miUMissions/Re ug latory-Permit-Prograir�/Public-Notices/ �*For plans c�fid project description see Notice SAW-2007-01386 dated January 11, 2017. This permit application serves as the next step for the Corps to prepare a Federal Record of Decisioil(ROD), for the completion of National Environnlental Policy Act (NEPA), which will further be used as the Corps' decision document to issue, issue with conditions, or deny the permit for the subject project.
