Subject: NDMR and NDAR for Permit # WQ0003396
Please find attached the December 2016 NDMR and NDARs for Permit No. WQ000336 for
Arauco. Panels USA, LLC. There were exceedances of the freeboard limit for Ponds 5C and 5D
during this reporting period. The facility began pumping and hauling wastewater to the Big
Buffalo Waste Treatment Plant in Sanford, NC to control freeboard. Additionally, records from
previous submittals were reviewed and it was discovered that the rolling 12 -month irrigation
totals were inaccurately calculated for the report submitted in August and November. The
rolling 12 -month totals. have been corrected for this report. All rolling totals are below
