Type of Violation 001 Effluent Solids, Total Suspended - 9/30/2016 30 40.17 Monthly Average Exceeded Concentration (CO530) Remedial actions, if not already implemented, should be taken to correct any noted problems. The Division of . Water Resources may pursue enforcement actions for this and any additional violations. If the violations are of a continuing nature, not related to operation and/or maintenance problems, and you anticipate remedial construction activities, then you may wish to consider applying for a Special Order by Consent (SOC). Please note that in accordance with the Town of Norwood current NPDES Permit #NC0021628, Part II, Section E, Item 6.'"Twenty-four Hour Reporting", (a.) The Permittee shall report to the Director or the appropriate Regional Office any noncompliance that potentially threatens public health or the environment. Any information shall be provided orally within 24 hours from the time the Permittee became aware of the circumstances. A written . submission .shall also be provided within 5 -days from the time the Permittee becomes aware of the circumstances. The written submission shall contain a description of the noncompliance, and its cause; the period of - noncompliance, including exact dates and times, and if the noncompliance has not been corrected, the anticipated time it is expected to continue; and steps taken or planned to reduce, eliminate, and prevent reoccurrence of noncompliance [40 CFR 122.41(1)(6)].
