In accordance with the NC Environmental Management Commission Special Order by Consent, EMC
SOC WQ S 10-012, Duke Energy Progress, LLC. (Duke) is hereby submitting this notification that
construction of the Dry fly ash reliability project was completed on October 12`h, 2016. This notice
fulfills Duke's reporting obligation found in the subject Consent Order's Section 2.b.(3).
