supportive businesses operated by the school and its affiliates which help provide income for the
operation of the school.

9. Describe the treatment system
List all installed components, including capacities, provide design removal for BOD, TSS, nitrogen
and phosphorus. If the space provided is not sufficient, attach the description of the treatment
system in a separate sheet of paper.
From the gravity collection system influent flows through a mechanical bar screen,
ultrasonic flow meter&enters the 2.094 MG clay lined lagoon with the hydraulic
capacity of 0.176 MGD. The lagoon is divided into four cells with floating curtains. The
first cell has one 15HP floating aerator& four 3 HP Floating aerators. The second cell
has four 3 HP floating aerators. The third & fourth cells ate used a clarifiers. Effluent is
disinfected with a drip feed of liquid bleach, then flows into dual chlorine contact
chambers with 1 hour detention, de-chlorinated with de-chlor tablets, post aerated, &
then enters a corrugated rip-rap pipe to the receiving stream.

Re: Sludge Disposal
To whom it may concern;
Incoming solids disposal at this site is limited to frequent bar screen cleaning. Accumulations of
solids are bagged and disposed of at the area county landfill. Any additional sludge accumulation in
the Aerated Stabilization Lagoon is pumped by Mike's Septic Tank Service and is permitted to be
dumped at the Brevard Treatment System and MSD.
