The first plant is about 25,000 gallons and we treat with aeration. Our second and larger plant holds about 56,000 gallons divided into 7 aeration chambers with the 8th chamber being our clarifier. When needed the sludge can be pumped off into a digestor where we pump off supernantant and have the sludge hauled off as needed and incinerated. We pump our sludge into a 3000 gallon Digestor and have it removed by a company where it is taken to our local treatment plant(MSD)and incinerated. Gary K endall / Young Life Windy Gap is requesting renewal for our wastewater permit.We have had changes in our ORC. Pete Alexander who was our ORC for many years has left and we have a temporary ORC. Taylor Gooley is our temporary ORC. He and I both are Grade 1 operators and are going to school in June to get our grade 2. We did make an improvement to our equalization chamber that divides the water between the two plants.We had a new flow box installed that divides the flow in January of this year.
