Our plants here at Windy Gap both use aeration. We disinfect with chlorine in a tablet feeder. We do
the same in the de-chlorination process. We pump our sludge into a 3000 gallon Digestor and have it
removed by a company where it is taken to our local treatment plant(MSD)and incinerated.
Gary K endall /
Young Life Windy Gap is requesting renewal for our wastewater permit. We have had changes in our
ORC. Pete Alexander who was our ORC for many years has left and we have a temporary ORC.
Taylor Gooley is our temporary ORC. He and I both are Grade 1 operators and are going to school in June
to get our grade 2.
We did make an improvement to our equalization chamber that divides the water between the two
plants. We had a new flow box installed that divides the flow in January of this year.
