Subject:RE: RAE's Creek at Oak Valley Stream Restoration Plan
Russ and Mark,
I've reviewed the plans that were submitted for the RAES Creek restoration and have a couple questions:
Mark, can you provide a short narrative indicating what you used as a reference reach for the design please.
Russ, since a portion of the stream will have fill slope very close to the top of bank, would you provide an explanation of
how the two lot sizes were determined and if you've investigated any other options for reducing the fill slope at this
location. I understood that there was likely to be a different buffer vegetation proposal for that area but a fill slope close
to a stream bank is of more concern and wouldn't be something we would see in a stream restoration proposal.
Russ, from on line GIS mapping it appears that this area is still under ownership of Oak Valley Assoc. Have the two
proposed lots been subdivided? Would you please provide a map that shows the legal boundaries of these lots.
Thanks,
Sue Homewood
