Homewood, Sue From:Tori Small <tsmall@wsaaeng.com> Sent:Tuesday, January 31, 2017 4:01 PM To:Homewood, Sue; Bailey, David E CIV USARMY CESAW (US); Michael Westcott Subject:Re: Charlestowne Square Attachments:CHARLESTOWNE SQUARE GRADING PLAN (1).pdf; CHARLESTOWNE SQUARE IMPACT MAP 3 (1).pdf; CHARLESTOWNE SQUARE OVERALL IMPACT MAP (1).pdf Sue- We revised the bottom of the channel to riprap to alleviate the concerns with matting. Unfortunately we are concerned about the stream meandering again if we add riffles or step pools instead of riprap, and I hesitate to use a method like that in the rear of a condo complex since they won't have the money or experience to monitor or make repairs to a stream restoration technique. The revised channel cross section is attached as are the associated impact maps. Please let me know if there are additional concerns. Thanks for your patience. -Tori Victoria Waldron Small, PE Westcott, Small & Associates, PLLC 125 S. Elm Street, Suite 606 Greensboro, NC 27401 Phone: 336.310.WSAA Direct: 336.310.1481 1 M.
