Thank you for returning my call the other day. Based on our conversations, I am providing you
the following documentation regarding the potential construction of an agricultural irrigation
pond within jurisdictional wetlands:
¦ USGS Quadrangle Angier showing site and proposed location
¦ Wake County soil survey depicting the same
¦ Aerial map exhibiting proposed location of irrigation pond
As you will notice, both the soil survey and the 7.5 minute quadrangle reflect the presence of a
blue line stream which would subsequently have a required buffer, being that it is located within
the Neuse River Basin. However, based on my own site inspection, I was unable to determine the
presence of a stream feature. There were no discernable channels, no ordinary high water marks,
and no braided stream systems. I am respectfully requesting an onsite determination by either you
or your staff at your earliest convenience. Thank you for your time and consideration, if you have
