Subject: Stop Alcoa from Discharging Cyanide

I may have missed the dead line however I hope you will take this comment. Please protect our water. This is a
resource that we in NC are very lucky to have. It is my understanding that Alcoa has request a storm water
permit to discharge cyanide contaminated groundwater into Badin Lake and Little Mountain Creek. I can not
believe this, please require Alcoa to clean up their mess not dump it somewhere else. I am proud of NC and
fell lucky to live here. Please protect our waters by correcting this permit to satisfy the Clean Water Act.
