contaminated groundwater into l3a6n I alke and I itHe IMountalin Creek. NCDENR should require Alcoa to clean up this old,
�lealkling Ilandfullll not 1permlit discharges of hazardous chemicals into an already liirnpalired stream. The 1permlit as written does
not satisfy the Clean Water Act and should be denied or modified to 1protect I itHe IMountalin Creek from ongoiing
contamination.
