to discharge cyanide contaminated groundwater into Badin I ake and I ittle IMountain Creek.
NCDEWRmhou|d require Alcoa bo clean up this n|d. leaking |amdfiU-motpermit discharges of
hazardous chemicals into an already impaired stream. The permit as written does not satisfy the
Clean Water Act and should be denied or modified to protect I ittle IMountain Creek from ongoing
contamination.
