Wilson, P.E. PHONE: 733-5083, ext. 510 ,' NO. OF PAGES INCLUDING THIS SHEET: Pete, Here's a copy of the latest permit— issued 2002 and still in effect. The name and ownership to Pillowtex/Hollingsworth is in the works (looks like it is ready to be signed). There are no changes planned to the permit at this time because this appeared to be a simple ownership change. Pillowtex should be aware that the current permit is designed for the treatment of non-contact cooling water, sanitary wastewater, and boiler blow-down. At the time of the previous application there were no operations in place for treatment of textile wastewater. If the facility plans to re-start industrial operations—they will need to submit a permit application describing their operations. I would highly recommend speaking with representatives in water quality in the Winston-Salem Regional Office (David Russell 336 771 4600). The bottom line is that there is currently a permit in place, the ownership change is in process, the permit limits may need to be modified depending on the operations that the new buyer plans to perform at the facility.
