Thanks for working so hard to clarify ' this for us. t/'(, (1 ©cv Reid Bell Line (919) 362-3280 NIkkr Vnet 772-3280 Original Message From: Susan WilsonImailto:susan.a.wilson@ncmail.net] Sent: Friday, June 11, 2004 1:48 PM To: Garrett, Reid W.; Mark Hale Subject: Sutton fish monitoring Reid/Mark - how about this? - To clarify Part I, Condition A.(12), the fish tissue analysis and reporting are required should a discharge occur from Outfall 004 any 120 days within a calendar year. Should the 120 days be met after the field season of spring to fall, then the analysis shall commence as a one-time study during the next field season (any period during the spring to fall season). The intent of the condition is to perform the study only one-time during the calendar year. Again, should the 120 days discharge occur later in the calendar year, then the analysis/study shall commence during the next calendar year (during the field season). The Division of Water Quality believes that one study during a calendar year, when necessary, should provide enough information to determine the potential impact of the discharge. 1 of 1 6/18/2004 12:02 PM
