out�et and �niddle of the base flow �arrel. W� will install 2.5' ta�l sills on the ston�.water
barrel to �solate hase flaw. Floodplains will be constructed up ar�d dc�wnstrea�r� of the

Constructi�n of this proj�ct wili require impacts ta waters of the United States in the
Catawba River Basin. The existing bridge crosses Elijah Estes MiII Creek (Class: B). No
endangered �pecies were zdentifed at the praject location but it is requested that the
Corps coordinate with USFWS regarding any potential bat issue�.

identified. One historic property w� identified. The project has been reviewed by SHPO
aixeady (see attached documentatio�}, Note that native stone will be trucked in in lieu of
class I or class II riprap.
The prQject impacts are not significant in nature and should not alter the best usage �ax
this 5tream. AlI appropriate BMPs will he used during construction_ Attached is a
Precanstr��ction Notification Form, plan sheets, a marked topography map and
photographs.

401/Wetlands Uzut, issue the appropriate perniit for construction of this project. It is
