NCDOT / Division 6 is requesting an acceptance letter to authorize for impacts to a project.

The site is located along Soules Swamp in Columbus County. The project will replace Bridge 308 along SR 1005 (Peacock
Rd.) with an Aluminum Box Culvert. The Cataloging Unit number is 03040203. The USACE is requiring mitigation for
0.11 acre of non-riparian wetland impacts and 42 linear feet of warm water stream at a ratio of 2 : 1 (0.22 acre non-
riparian wetland / 84LF warm water stream). NCDEQ is not requiring mitigation. The State Project Number is
17BP.6.R.63. The Water Quality Classification is C;Sw.

Please cc Liz Hair(USACE) and Joanne Steenhuis (DWR) with the acceptance letter.
