On May 22, 2008, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application dated May
21, 2008 to fill or otherwise impact 0.0876 acres of 404/wetland (0.0160 acres permanent impact
and 0.0014 acres temporary impact), 146 linear feet of perennial stream (133 linear feet
permanent impact and 13 linear feet temporary im act), and 9,066 square feet (ft) of Zone 1
protected riparian buffers and 5,202 square feet (ft) of Zone 2 protected riparian buffers (4,758
square feet permanent impact and 444 square feet temporary impact) to construct the proposed
residential development at the site. On June 24, the DWQ received additional information from
you, however, the DWQ has determined that your application remains incomplete and/or
provided inaccurate information as discussed below. If you choose to reapply please address the
following:
1. On May 28, 2008, the DWQ requested the following from you:
Per the requirements of GC3705, this project is subject to Stormwater Management Plan
(SMP) Requirements for Applicants Other Than the North Carolina Department of
Transportation (see http://h2o.enr.state.nc.us/ncwetlands?. For each proposed BMP,
please provide a completed BMP Supplement Form with all required items (see
http://h2o.enr.state.nc.us/su/bmp forms.htm).
The above request was not addressed in your June 24, 2008, submission. For this reason your
permit application is hereby considered returned. Once you have redesigned your project to
address the problems and inadequacies with your application as it was submitted, you will need
to reapply for DWQ approval. This includes submitting a complete application package with the
appropriate fee.
